Nicolas Tournay , chef of the restaurant Mont à Gourmet in Gouy-lez-Piéton won the title of “ Best Cook of Belgium 2020 ”.

The Prosper Montagné Prize, organized by the Club Prosper Montagné, is a prestigious culinary competition designating the best chef in Belgium. It is a talented Gouytois, Nicolas Tournay, who won the award for "Best Cook of Belgium 2020".

During the final of the competition, the finalists presented three original preparations: double castle rib of menapian pork with vegetable pickles, Brussels endives, wild mushrooms and Anna apples, followed by the Atlantic plaice with different garnishes, and for dessert Belcolade Origin Venezuela 43%, pear, chestnut and lambic sorbet.

For the smooth running of the evening, we ask the guests to arrive at 7 p.m. (Welcome, aperitif and appetizers)

The gastronomic concert will begin at 8 p.m. sharp with the first notes of IZVORA which will be offered in  alternation with the different stages of the gastronomic menu (4 courses) composed by the chef.

Meeting and proximity to artists will also be on the menu for this evening rich in auditory and taste emotions!
