Nora & Zora Novotna
Two sisters, pianists of Czech origin from Prague, have devoted themselves to music since their childhood. As soon as possible, they sit next to each other and start playing together.
The first successes such as the 1st prize at the International Amadeus Mozart Competition or, among others, the 1st prize and the absolute winner prize at the Valsesia Musica Juniores competition in Italy decided the future career of young pianists.
Since their childhood, the sisters have won many prizes at prestigious international competitions in Italy, France, Austria, Monaco, Spain, the Czech Republic and Denmark.
After perfecting their knowledge of the French, Korean or Portuguese language at Charles University in Prague, Zora and Nora were admitted directly to their second year of study at the Royal Conservatory of Liège in Belgium, where they graduated with great distinction. .
By essentially practicing piano playing with 4 hands and two pianos, they are currently experiencing great success at music festivals in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, England and France.
The sisters recently won 1st prize at the International Competition in Rome and at the Concours Triomphe de l'Art in Brussels and have released a record on Azur Classical.
Their repertoire ranges from Bach and Mozart to Stravinsky and contemporary music, via Liszt, Rachmaninov, Wagner, Poulenc or Ravel.
